1. New safeguarding a protecting children course dates

We have six new "safeguarding and protecting children 1 (SPC1)" courses and three new "Safeguarding and protecting children 2:Review and reflect (SPC2)" courses confirmed as follows:

• SPC1 Weds 8th September EPIC Leisure Centre, Ellesmere Port 6:30pm - 9:30pm
• SPC1 Weds 22nd September Wilmslow High School 6:30pm - 9:30pm
• SPC2 Monday 11th October Lymm High School 6:30pm - 9:30pm

N.B. Safeguarding and protecting children 2 is only for candidates who have previously been on SPC1 in the last 3 years

Coaches - To book please create an account or log-in at www.coachingcw.org. On your home page will be a "Book Event" icon, please click and complete our new online booking form (payment will also be taken online)

Welfare officers and others - Please email coaching@cwsportspartnership.org with your booking request and phone number. We will then call you back and go through the booking form online to take payment.

2. Coach Education based on what you want!

Aside from the above courses, we need you to tell us what courses you need..

Coaches - Please create an account or log-into www.coachingcw.org and click the "Course availability" icon on the right hand side of the page. Then you can tell us what courses you need, what venues you can travel to and what days of the week you can attend.

We will then put on the courses that are most commonly requested, and you will decide our coach education programme. Remember, if you don't tell us what you need we wont put any courses on.

Welfare officers and others - Please email coaching@cwsportspartnership.org with:

- Training course required
- Areas you are willing to travel to (e.g. All across Cheshire, in Cheshire East, Chester and Ellesmere Port)
- Days of the week you can attend (Mon-Thurs)

We will then confirm receipt of the request and add your training needs to the ones of the coaches.

If for whatever reason you feel unable to complete booking forms and payments online, please call 01606 871812 for further information and we can provide you with support.

This is a new idea to try and make sure we base coach education on your need and support you to deliver the best possible coaching throughout the partnership. All feedback is welcome.
